  • hot water

We recommend hot water over 95℃.

step.1

First, warm up the teapot and cup.

One of the characteristics of Taiwanese tea is that you can enjoy its aroma. The aroma is better when the temperature is higher, so rather than pouring it into a cold teapot, use a pre-warmed teapot and teacup.

Warm it up for about 15 seconds, then throw away the hot water.

step.2

Place the tea leaves in a teapot, pour in freshly boiled water (150 ml to 300 ml per 5 to 6 g of tea leaves), and let steep for 90 seconds to 6 minutes.

*Boiling water and extraction time vary depending on the tea leaves and type.

step.3

After brewing, pour every last drop into a hot water cup.

Taiwanese tea can be drunk over and over again.

Add the next batch of hot water without removing the tea leaves.

Please enjoy.

● Estimated extraction time (varies depending on the tea leaves)●

・1st brew: 90 seconds to 6 minutes

・2nd brew: about 1 minute

・3rd brew: about 1 minute

・After 4th brewing: 1 minute or more

For Taiwanese tea, the amount of tea leaves, temperature of hot water, steeping time, and container vary depending on the type of tea.

Please use this as a reference and enjoy experimenting with your preferred method of brewing, such as the strength and aroma of the tea.

Pour about 3g (1 heaped teaspoon) of tea leaves per person into a teapot, then pour in the hot water from the teacup you previously prepared.

Wait about 1 minute until the tea leaves open.

step.3

After about 1 minute, when the tea leaves open, divide them evenly into the hot water cup.

The tea will be thin at the beginning and thicken later, so pour the tea so that the tea is evenly concentrated.

When pouring, be sure to pour until the last drop so that nothing remains in the teapot.

If you do this, you can enjoy the deliciousness until the second and third brewing.
