歴史・産地 
福建省安渓県を中心として栽培されるお茶で、200年余の歴史があり、鉄観音の中でも最高級品とされています。
安渓鉄観音は年に4回ほど茶葉が収穫できますが、そのうち春茶と秋茶が美味しいとされ、特に春茶は最高と言われています。
元来は高発酵かつ重焙煎の重厚な風味と味わいを特徴とする半発酵茶ですが、近年の安渓鉄観音は低発酵かつ軽焙煎で軽快で爽やかな風味と味わいのものが主流となっています。

味・香り
味は芳醇で甘く、透き通ったような香りは蘭を想像させます。
「清香」と呼ばれる台湾の高山茶に似た華やかな香りとすっきりとした味わいになるように作られています。
茶葉は固く締まり、深い緑色をしており、水色は琥珀色をしています。
おいしく香り高く淹れるために、はじめに茶葉をお湯で軽くすすいで（洗茶）からお楽しみください。

 

烏龍茶の特長

■脂肪燃焼効果
烏龍茶には、脂肪燃焼効果のある「カフェイン」と「ウーロン茶ポリフェノール」が含まれています。
